🔑 Core Principles

➤ Drive with due regard
You're responsible for safety of others on the road.

➤ Lights & sirens request right of way
They don’t guarantee it. Never assume traffic will move.

➤ Control your adrenaline
Stay calm, focused, and in control..

➤ Use sirens only when necessary
Follow local laws and your agency’s policy.

➤ Use the center lane
On 3-lane roads, the center gives traffic room to move left or right.

➤ Keep a sterile cockpit
No small talk. Stay focused. Passengers help watch, not distract.

➤ Drive predictably
Sudden moves = danger. Be smooth and clear.

➤ Adjust for weather
Rain, snow, fog? Slow down. Extend your stopping distance.

⚠️ Intersections = Danger Zones

➤ Slow down early
Be ready to stop — even with lights and sirens.

➤ Clear one lane at a time
Treat each lane like a separate hazard. Don’t rush through.

➤ Watch for pedestrians
Especially at crosswalks. They may not see or hear you.

➤ Expect confusion
People freeze, panic, or act weird. Be prepared.

✅ Arrive Alive

You're not just driving fast — you're protecting lives.
Your job isn’t just to arrive. It’s to arrive safely.

Stay sharp. Stay in control. Stay Ready To Respond.
